Watch Your A/C System's Coolant and Oil Levels

Warning Against A/C Units Set Too Low

ost A/C units are designed to provide a room temperature of 20?C. Setting thermostats lower then 20?C risks freezing up the cooling coil which reduces the efficiency of the equipment, will reduce the capacity to the point that it will not cool at all and eventfully damage the compressor… costing several hundred dollars to repair. Thermostats set too cold is the number one cause of premature compressor failure.
