Dorron started a 30+ year career in the life safety business soon after making Calgary his new home. For over 15 years he was a fire alarm technician. His skills included installation, programming and maintaining fire alarm systems. He quickly moved up the ladder, taking many courses to acquire knowledge and improve his skill. He found his niche working in high profile panel retrofits. Dorron has always been passionate about the fire safety side of the business and saw an opportunity to protect people in a more comprehensive manner. He moved to renovation sales, responsible for replacing damaged or outdated systems. In that time, he completed projects for many school divisions, transportation hubs, towers, post-secondary institutions as well as smaller projects. He is an accomplished project manager, with good end user communication skills. After about 12 years in sales, he took a promotion at another company as Alberta District Fire Service Supervisor / Sales Representative, which gave him the ability to advance his skills in management while still keeping his connections to customers with ongoing sales.

Dorron is looking forward to connecting with former customers and making new relationships in his new role of Business Development FLS Manager.
