John has been in the safety industry since 2012 and is a Certified National Construction Safety Officer through the Alberta Construction Safety Association and a Certified Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner through the University of Alberta. John also sits on the Calgary Regional Safety Committee Board. John takes great pride ensuring a safe and positive workplace on all AK Brown work sites for workers, customers, and the public at large. During his career in the safety industry, he has gained a reputation for lowering safety incidents and WCB claims with his hands on approach to job site safety. John works with all AK Brown employees from management to apprentices to constantly improve the Safety Management System which ensures buy-in from employees and a First-Class Safety Culture within AK Brown.
